
ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING:
JNTU College of Engineering, Pulivendula is established in the year 2006 as one of the constituent colleges of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The first Academic Block of the college was inaugurated on 25th December 2006 by Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, Hon’ ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The college is located on Pulivendula- Muddanur Road, 3 K.M away from Pulivendula town, 75 K.M from Kadapa Town & 36 K.M from Muddanur Railway Station.
The College has vast campus sprawling over an area of 163 acres, in a peaceful atmosphere away from the dust and pollution. The college provides hostel accommodation for 400 boys and 300 girls. In the 1st phase of infrastructure development, Administrative Building, two Academic Blocks, Library Building, two Hostel Blocks, Guest House, Principal’s Quarter, Staff Quarters (A type) and Laboratories were constructed, and are being utilized for Academics, Administration and Laboratories.
In the 2nd phase of infrastructure development, two more Academic Blocks, two Hostel blocks (one for boys and the other for girls), Mega mess for boys and Mega Mess for girls and Staff quarters (B type) are completed.
In the 3rd phase of infrastructure development, two more Academic Blocks, two Hostel Blocks, Auditorium, Amenities centre (Canteen, Bank and Post Office) and Sports Complex will be constructed.
Though the college was newly established, it is emerging as one of the colleges to bridge the gap between the needs of the competitive world and the academics. The college is fortified with traditional values and dedicated spirit of the staff and the students. With that team spirit, it has got good result in the University examinations.
The labs of all the departments are well equipped with latest technology.
With in the short period of time, it has started Training and Placement cell which was inaugurated by Prof. K. Rajagopal, Vice-Chancellor, JNT University, Hyderabad during November 2007. The cell arranges training and personality development programs for their career development.
A separate library building is available in the campus with sufficient number of technical books, journals, Magazines and audio visual equipment. It can accommodate about 200 students in the spacious halls.
The following courses are offered in the college, with an intake of 60 students per branch.
